Site Manager - Steel Erecting
Are you an experienced Site Manager with SMSTS certification, lifting operations expertise, and a background in steel erecting? We are looking for a driven individual to join our team and lead the successful delivery of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step.
This will be a 2 week contract initially but we have a wealth of clients we can put you in front of following the end of the job. You will be overseeing the extension of an Air Slide to move materials.
You must have previous experience of setting up a CDM area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Setting up a CDM Area.
- Lead on health and safety compliance, ensuring all lifting operations and steel erection processes meet strict safety regulations.
- Use your SMSTS qualification to ensure that all site operations adhere to industry and company standards.
- Oversee and plan lifting operations, ensuring the safe and efficient use of lifting equipment.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, site personnel, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- SMSTS certified with significant experience in lifting operations and steel erecting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams on-site.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to construction and lifting.
- Proven experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
