Senior Deputy Head
This is one of the most significant appointments Glendower Prep School will make in this next phase of its development: one year into the delivery of the strategic vision, Glendower 130: Shaping the Future One Girl at a Time. This is an exceptionally exciting moment to join the school.
Glendower Preparatory School is a leading independent girls’ school in South Kensington, known for its academic ambition, strong pastoral care and vibrant community. Educating approximately 300 girls from Nursery to Year 6, the school is unapologetically ambitious for its pupils, fostering intellectual curiosity, scholarship and a deep love of learning within a warm and supportive environment.
This is a demanding but deeply rewarding role, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in a school that is ambitious, reflective and forward-looking. Claire Boyd, Headmistress, is seeking a leader who shares her belief in the power of girls’ education, who is energised by challenge, and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of Glendower.
If this vision inspires you, we would invite confidential conversations with candidates with good knowledge of the London market, who will be in some form of leadership role already.
Further details about the role are available in the candidate information pack which can be found on the RSAcademics website
For an initial, confidential conversation about the role, please contact Angela Short, Head of Search angelashort@rsacademics.com or Charlotte Faber, Senior Advisor charlottefaber@rsacademics.com
The deadline for receipt of the application is 10am, Friday 8 May 2026.
