FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Customer Side Field Technician to cover the North London area.

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving water leaks on the customer's side of the property boundary. This involves inspecting commercial and customer properties, conducting leak detection surveys, and advising customers on the best course of action to repair leaks and reduce water wastage.

Customer Side Field Technician responsibilities:

Attend appointments and conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess water leakage and wastage issues
Advise customers on the nature of leaks, potential causes, and recommended repair solutions
Analyse water usage data to identify potential leaks and high water consumption patterns
Advise customers on the nature of leaks, potential causes, and recommended repair solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all leak detection activities, including customer information, leak locations, and repair recommendations
Verify meter readings

Customer Side Field Technician requirements:

Full UK driving license required
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the water industry
Knowledge of plumbing systems would be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
