School Administrator – Primary Schools

Reed Education is currently recruiting experienced School Administrators to work across a range of primary schools in Scunthorpe. We have roles available immediately as well as opportunities starting in September 2026, with both short-term and long-term assignments on offer.

This is an excellent opportunity for knowledgeable school administrators seeking flexibility, stability, or variety within local primary school settings.

The Role

School Administrators are central to the smooth running of a school and provide vital support to staff, pupils, and parents.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Reception and front-of-house duties
• Managing attendance, admissions, and pupil records
• Handling phone calls, emails, and general correspondence
• Administrative support for teaching and leadership staff
• Using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or ScholarPack

• Typical hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay: From £14.50 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities

• Previous school administration experience (essential)
• Experience within a primary school environment preferred
• Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills
• A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
