Senior Finance Assistant, c£35000 + Study, Camberley area

This is a full-time office based permanent job. The client is based in modern offices with parking.

Working closely with the Directors, this successful growing business is looking for a well-skilled Senior Finance Assistant. The role is varied and demanding and will require excellent communication skills to liaise with staff at all levels.

Duties include:

Cash Management.

Reconciliation of bank accounts.

Setting up of all payment templates and payments i.e. suppliers, staff expenses, prepaid card load, PAYE and VAT payments.

Maintenance of Petty Cash.

Monitoring and reconciliation of prepaid cards.

Banking cheques.

Foreign currency payments.

Tracking client standing order mandates.

Sales and Purchase Ledger.

Client invoicing.

Credit control tracking and management.

Data input and coding of supplier invoices.

Reconciliation of supplier statements and producing weekly payment run report.

Dealing with supplier and client queries.

Calculate and report on sales commissions.

Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts

Preparation of month-end schedules

Experience required:

3 years minimum working in a busy accounts department.

Part qualified AAT/ ACCA / CIMA studier or equivalent.

Strong MS Office Excel and Word skills essential.

Xero or other cloud based accounting software experience would be beneficial.

Analytical mind-set.

Able to work in a structured and methodical manner with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

Deadline oriented and able to manage you own workload.
