Part Time Accounts Assistant
Our small yet well-established client, who have ambitious future growth plans, are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their fun and ‘family feel’ team as Accounts Assistant. This is a permanent opportunity based from their offices near Hartpury, Gloucester.
You will be responsible for all day to day financial operations as well as assisting with general administration for the wider company. Our client are happy to look at candidates at all levels however, you must have experience working within a similar accounts position.
Whether you have previous finance experience or hold an accountancy qualification this may be the excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a new role. To be considered for this role you must have strong attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in along with a good sense of humour and a love for dogs!Most of all, you must be a team player.
Responsibilities:- Process invoices, reconcile accounts and manage expense claims.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support the Finance Manager in additional ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
- Previous experience in an accounts / finance related role
- Experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to get stuck in and work closely alongside other members of the team
- Bubbly personality with ability to speak to people at all levels
Hours: Part Time, Monday – Friday, flexible working hours to suit you (e.g. 9am – 2pm / 9:30am – 2:30pm / 10am – 3pm)
Salary: Up to £30k pro rata per annum depending on experience + free parking
