Position Overview: We're seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work within the Business Intelligence team and the wider IT team, playing a crucial role in supporting colleagues with their regular and ad hoc Business Intelligence requirements.You'll use a variety of Business Intelligence tools to find innovative and practical solutions that service the end-user, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest of standards.
Responsibilities:
- Actioning tickets/requests promptly and efficiently.
- Performing daily checks to ensure data availability and accuracy, managing expectations within the business.
- Analysing and documenting Business Intelligence requirements.
- Developing ad hoc extracts from SQL Server.
- Designing and maintaining dataflows, datasets, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (such as SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI).
- Creating and managing ETL flows from source to data warehouse using SQL Server Integration Services.
- Assisting with data modelling and solution design from source to data warehouse.
- Completing relevant development documentation.
- Testing and peer reviewing development work.
- Ensuring ongoing maintenance of the data warehouse estate.
- Contributing to projects as required.
- Developing technical skills through on-the-job and online learning.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and Excel.
- Experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions using T-SQL, Excel, SSRS, DAX, and Power BI.
- Comprehensive experience in ETL development using SSIS and SSISDB
- Ability to work effectively in an agile project environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with colleagues at all levels.
- Understanding of data modelling concepts.
- Basic proficiency in Power Platform skills.
- Capacity to work within tight timescales in a high-pressure environment.

Candidates should be able to attend our office three full days per week
Hours: 40 hours per weekSalary: Up to £35k dependant upon experience
