Teacher of Chemistry (with the ability to Teach all Science disciplines at KS3)
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring Chemistry Teacher to join the Science Department at St Lawrence College.
The successful candidate will possess excellent academic credentials to enable them to teach full-time within our dynamic and supportive School. The Science Department is incredibly well-resourced, in a new building, and has both subject specialists as well as those who can teach across the Sciences.
This role would suit an outstanding, experienced Chemistry Teacher with a passion for their subject. We will also consider an ECT with a positive, proactive approach to teaching and learning (we will provide the full statutory induction). The School is also able to train new entrants to the profession.Regardless of the level of experience, a deep vocational commitment to teaching and learning is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled classroom practitioner with experience of teaching Chemistry to A level and they should also be able to teach the other science disciplines at KS3 (with the ability to teach another science at KS4 desirable).Most importantly, they should be passionate about their subject and unstinting in their desire to pass on their enthusiasm to eager and receptive pupils, inside and outside the classroom.
