Job Title: Secondary English Tutor
Job Duties:
The Secondary English Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality English tuition to secondary school students. Duties include planning and preparing engaging lessons, assessing students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.The Tutor will also collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and support students with special educational needs (SEN).
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in English or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience working with secondary school students
- Demonstrated SEN experience

A degree in English or a related field
Experience:
Prior experience working with secondary school students and SEN experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the secondary English curriculum
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience in delivering one-to-one tuition
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, part-time position located in South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead. The salary ranges from £20 to £30 per hour.
