What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Mathematics Teacher to be part of and take a leading role in our very successful and dedicated faculty.
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Director of Learning for Mathematics who is committed to having a positive impact on our students’ academic progress, setting the highest standards and expectations, and preparing and delivering lessons of outstanding quality.This role may suit someone who is looking to take a step into middle leadership and is looking to build upon their current experience and success at that level.
The Mathematics Faculty has 11 qualified teachers with a mix of age and experience. We are proud that over the last four years, Mathematics GCSE and A level results have improved to above the national average: this trajectory is projected to continue.
We are housed in a 10-room purpose-built Mathematics block which has interactive Promethean screens in each room. The academy continually invests in CPD to ensure teaching is good or better.
A TLR is available for suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
