Tasks- Research and Development: Conduct experiments to determine the optimal conditions for the running of a novel membraneless redox flow battery.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control on battery components including the electrode and electrolyte. Further improve the quality control procedures within the company
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineers and other scientists to optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Chemical Handling: Implement proper chemical handling procedures for large the assembly and disassembly of redox flow batteries
- Safety Procedures: Develop and implement safety procedures for handling large amounts of dangerous chemicals.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports, research papers, and recommendations based on research findings.
- Pilot Plant Operation: Produce documentation for the pilot plant including assembly, disassembly and operation of the redox flow batteries.
- Staff Training: Provide training to current employees for the safe operation of the pilot plant.
- Educational Background: A degree in chemistry or a related field is typically required.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct experiments and interpret data.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in conducting experiments and documenting results.
- Communication Skills: Ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production.
