The role:
As the Business Planning & Performance Specialist you will act as an enabler for the procurement department, focusing on performance tracking, financials, reporting and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
� Performance & Financial Tracking:
� Manage departmental budgets and financials.
� Track procurement performance using KPIs (e.g., cost savings).
� Benchmark performance internally and externally.
� System & Data Management:
� Use and support the CMPS system (project management and benefits tracking tool).
� Assist category teams with data input, reporting, and system training.
� Analyse project timelines, resource planning, and utilization.
� Process Improvement:
� Identify inefficiencies and lead improvement projects.
� Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
� Stakeholder Engagement:
� Collaborate with various teams and senior management.
� Present data insights in a clear, visual format (e.g., PowerPoint).
� Provide training and user support for systems and processes.
Requirements:
� Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
� Data analysis and reporting.
� Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., CMPS).
� Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management.
� Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
� Effective communicator (verbal and written).
� Presentation and training capabilities.
� Analytical and logical thinker.
� Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
� Comfortable working in a hybrid role (data + people).
