An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 2022 SOR S.E region Team of the Year at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) . We are looking for someone who wants a career in the challenging and rewarding field of paediatric radiography as a Band 5 Paediatric Radiographer.We are looking for a part time radiographer to cover either
08:30-16:30 on Mondays, Wednesday or Thursdays or 08:00- 18:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesday.

Across the departments you will be working in, there are:- 4 Xograph Triathlon T3 Precision DR rooms
- 1 Siemens Artis Zee Multi-purpose fluoroscopy rooms
- Large fleet of image intensifiers (Cios Flow, Cios Select, Ziehm Solo, Ziehm Vision R)
- Large fleet of DR mobiles (Carestream DRX, Delft M1)

You will work as part of a specialist team of paediatric radiographers and consultant paediatric radiologists providing a wide range of high quality planar, fluoroscopy and specialist paediatric imaging both in the department, on the wards and in theatre.
Undertake paediatric radiography to a high level of expertise, using initiative to adapt technique and image quality and promote radiographer excellence.Operate within boundaries of IRMER17 and IRR17.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORSomeone who wishes to develop their skills as a paediatric radiographer in a fun friendly team.
Someone who is able use their experience and skills to produce high quality images. Following protocols but able to adapt their approach as required.
Someone who has excellent communication skills with children and young people of all ages as well as their parents and carers.
