Teacher Business Studies
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Business (Full-Time or Part-Time, minimum 0.8 FTE), to join our busy and flourishing senior school.
The successful candidate will teach across Years 10 - 13 in the Senior School. We deliver the Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel A-Level and BTEC National Diploma Business qualifications, and the Business Management qualification for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.We are seeking to appoint a teacher who is qualified to teach Business to (I)GCSE and A-Level and has experience of delivering the BTEC National Diploma qualification. Experience of teaching Business Management for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is an advantage but not essential.
For the right candidate, there is the possibility of the additional responsibility of being the second in, what is a large and growing, department. This responsibility would be primarily to lead one of the Business qualifications we provide, particularly either our BTEC National Diploma or the Business Management qualification for the International Baccalaureate.
This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers, for whom Taunton School runs an extensive programme of support.
