Job Description- Prepare and analyse revenue reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on revenue trends to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support system improvements to enhance efficiency in revenue accounting processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Revenue Accounting Analyst should have:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting standards.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a temporary role.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams.
- Hourly pay between £14.00 and £17.00, depending on experience.
