Role:
MVA is looking for a proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented iSAMs Lead to join our forward-thinking online school. You will lead in the development and management of iSAMS, and support timetable development and integration with the iSAMS and other systems.This role supports the development and improvement of the school’s assessment systems and the subsequent data analysis. You will also develop administrative tools, processes and reports to support the school manage data.

Key Responsibilities:
iSAMS and Data Management:
- Develop and maintain iSAMS to support the operational and strategic needs of the organisation.
- Support the design and implementation of data collection, analysis, and reporting systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various platforms.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Working with the VP Academic, develop and improve the School’s assessment systems and subsequent data analysis; develop and re-design where necessary the School’s templates to support delivery of best quality data
- at all levels across the School.
- Develop administrative tools, process and reports for SLT where required, utilising new and existing technology where applicable to improve the quality and integrity of information.
- You will need to be able to support members of staff who may be dealing with multiple pressures and deadlines by ensuring that you deal with their data and MIS issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Where required provide strategic, managerial and practical support to the Examinations Lead in ensuring that all procedures and routines relating to examinations are in place and ensure that the school provides the best possible examination experiences enhance progress
- Support the work of the school’s MVA Digital Technology and AI Strategy Group
- Work closely with and support the school’s CTO to align with the school’s Digital Technology Strategy Group’s priorities
Timetable Integration:
- Support the management of the academic timetable, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and meeting the needs of students and staff.
- Work with the Timetable Coordinator to develop the school timetable; due to the nature of MVA and regular enrolments throughout the year, timetabling occurs throughout the year
- Support and maintain the school timetable and manage in year changes for staff and students in iSAMS.
- Be responsible for the accurate and timely timetable integration into the MIS in accordance with the regular enrolment cycles
GDPR Requirements:
- Ensure stored data is relevant to the school’s requirements and limited to what is necessary
- Ensure that data changes are updated accurately, timely and removed when no longer required
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations, maintaining confidentiality and data security at all times.
General Responsibilities:
- Work closely with academic and administrative departments to fulfill their data and scheduling needs.
- Provide training and support in iSAMS tools, data interpretation, and timetable management.
- Lead on data protection, compliance, and adherence to relevant legislation.
- Manage and mentor the Timetable Coordinator
- Train and support staff in the effective use of the iSAMS and other data-related systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science).
- Proven experience in MIS management (ideally iSAMs), data analysis, and timetable integration, preferably in an educational or online learning context.
- Strong technical skills in database management and data analysis software.
- Familiarity with timetable management software and tools.
