Geography Teacher – Secondary School – Hyde – Full-Time Role Starting September
Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Hyde, Greater Manchester, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for experienced teachers or ECTs looking to join a supportive and high-performing school community.

Role Summary:
The successful candidate will join a well-established Humanities department, delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be expected to inspire a love of Geography through dynamic teaching, effective use of assessment, and creative lesson planning.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to mixed abilities
- Use assessment data to inform teaching and provide targeted support
- Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and schemes of work
- Support whole-school activities, including parent evenings and enrichment programmes
- Uphold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
- Has (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
