About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, medium-sized, not-for-profit organisation based in the UK. They are renowned for their commitment to improving lives and making a positive impact on society.

• To produce monthly management accounts including analysis of key financial and operational performance indicators to enable reporting in a timely and accurate manner
• To ensure income is recorded and coded accurately in a timely manner, and reconciled with Fundraising records as applicable
• Ensure all bank transactions are adequately monitored and processed
• To carry out or review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for the supervision of the sales and purchase ledgers
• Reconciliation of investments as applicable
• To regularly analyse and manage cash flows
• To prepare VAT returns ensuring that the Group is compliant with all relevant regulations and that the overall tax and VAT position of the Group is optimised

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Senior Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a senior financial management role.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector (SORP 2019)
• Local authority funding experience

• A competitive salary in the range of £54,000 - £60,000, reflective of skills and experience.
