A Regency park bungalow defines high-end living in a welcoming, secure community that allows residents to enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle in which to enjoy the finer aspects of life.

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Groundskeepers to join our team based on residential living site in St Lawrence Bay, Essex. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our communal spaces.

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Performing regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging communal grassed areas
Planting, watering, weeding and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees
Operating hand tools and power tools to complete various groundskeeping tasks
Small maintenance jobs on communal facilities eg., bin storage, gas bottle storage etc
Leaf blowing, composting, laying turf, shingle, woodchip etc
Delivering gas bottles to residents
Reading on site utility meters
Maintain cleanliness of roads, signage and communal areas
Monitor and report any issues or damages to the Head Groundsman/Park Supervisor

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in groundskeeping
Ability to irrigate plants effectively to ensure their health and vitality
Experience in carrying out small remedial maintenance works
Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques including planting, watering, and pruning
Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices to keep outdoor spaces looking their best
Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging trenches or lifting heavy objects
