Associate Business Analyst
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
- Create high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), FRD/FSD and other essential project documentation.
- Actively participate in project testing phases, identifying and clearly documenting defects and assisting in their resolution.
- Support project activities, including tracking milestones, preparing status updates, and facilitating team communication.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Compliance.
- Gain a strong understanding of banking products, card/payment solutions, and associated regulatory frameworks.
- Proactively contribute ideas and feedback to support continuous improvement in products and processes.
This role provides a foundational experience within digital banking, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. Based on candidate’s performance, interests, and skills development, there may be opportunities to explore and progress into various disciplines, including product management, project management, or other related career paths.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will likely possess the following (or equivalent qualifiers):
o Bachelors/Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting/Engineering.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
o Business analysis certification (preferred but not essential).- EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
o 1-2 years' experience as a business analyst-testing or banking product analyst role.
INDEPENDENT ACTION & DECISION MAKING- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, agility, and ability to learn rapidly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and remain composed under pressure.
- Proactive attitude, demonstrating initiative and ownership of tasks.
- Familiarity or interest in banking products, card/payment solutions, and regulatory environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ACTIONS/RESULTS
o Strong ability to thrive in a collaborative, very fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
o Full-time (9:00am to 5:30pm – Monday to Friday) presence in the London office during the probation period.
o Post-probation flexible working options subject to performance review and managerial approval (remote working within the UK typically up to two days a week)
