The department runs a range of extra-curricular activities and trips that make 3D Design and Graphic Design exciting subjects to study at Loreto.
As a Teacher of 3D Design and Graphic Design at Loreto you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning under the leadership of the Head of Department. You will undertake regular assessment of students’ work and provide timely feedback.You will also monitor and support the progress and development of students using the college’s bespoke in-house systems, as well as building and maintaining positive relationships with students. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the subject in line with awarding organisation specifications and through working closely and collaboratively with your colleagues.
The Art and Design department is well-established and high achieving and works in a collaborative and supportive environment. Staff strive to achieve strong outcomes for all students, setting high expectations and delivering well organised and planned curriculums.The Art & Design department offers excellent extra-curricular opportunities which include numerous trip (local and over-seas), visiting speakers, participation in competitions and high levels of progression guidance.
About Loreto College
Loreto College has been oversubscribed for many years and this position has become available due to the growth of the college. We are currently awaiting the completion of a new building on our College campus to serve our diverse and dynamic student population which will increase by 600 students between 2024 and 2026.
