Education Adminstrator - UOD1765
The School has approximately 1,500 students spread across research, taught-postgraduate, and undergraduate levels. We also deliver on several strategic initiatives - including Graduate Apprenticeship programmes, the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, the Joint Education Programme with Northeastern University, China, and the Dundee International Institute of Central South University (DII CSU), China.
We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Education Administrator to become part of the School 's Strategic Partnerships team, you will offer an outstanding level of administrative support and co- ordination for the complete student journey.This post is eligible for a hybrid working pattern.
Your priorities will include:
- work within the team to develop and deliver effective administration systems to support the School's undergraduate programmes aligned to our strategic partnerships.
- act as a principle point of contact for any education-related queries from staff, students, internal and external stakeholders with minimal supervision
- demonstrating a high level of confidentiality, handling confidential information, data and documentation with appropriate care, and showing sensitivity and awareness, ensuring that the best interests of students are met, escalating to other team members when required
- be responsible for the administration of generic email accounts in an appropriately structured and prioritised manner
Who we're looking for:
- HNC or relevant Higher Education or other vocational experience
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 tools
- Experience of administration in an educational setting
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment, under pressure at times, to produce accurate, high-quality work to deadlines
