Senior Quantitative Researcher PhD
Senior Quantitative Researcher (PhD) London / WFH to £300k+
Opportunity to progress your career working on complex, real-time systems at a global Systematic Trading firm, with continual learning, development and problem solving.
As a Senior Quantitative Researcher you'll carry out rigorous and innovative research to discover persistent systematic anomalies in Futures markets with holding periods of intraday to a few days. You'll collaborate with a small team to improve and optimise existing portfolio strategies, analyse tick-data for execution enhancements and be a core contributor to improving the investment process.
Location / WFH:
You'll join a highly talented team in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
Requirements:
- You are degree educated, likely to MSc / PhD level - Computer Science or Quantitative discipline
- You have strong commercial experience with systematic Alpha research, Portfolio construction and optimization of Futures markets
- You have experience of developing short term Alpha Signals (intraday or a few days)
- You have experience of managing and running Risk
- You have strong Python coding skills including Data Science and a good understanding of Linux OS
- You have excellent communication skills
