As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students across various subjects, assisting with lesson delivery and helping students with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons across different subjects.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored support, helping them to grasp key concepts and achieve academic goals.
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and help monitor academic development.
- Support students with additional learning needs and help implement strategies to support their learning.
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (ideally a 2:2 or above).
- A strong passion for education and working with young people.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- No formal teaching qualifications are required, however experience working and supporting children in any capacity is essential
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
