About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is looking for an inspiring and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Exeter. This role is ideal for a language enthusiast who is passionate about helping students develop their language skills and cultural awareness.The successful candidate will teach Modern Foreign Languages (preferably French and/or Spanish) to secondary students, creating a dynamic learning environment that encourages language acquisition and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Teach French, Spanish, or another language, inspiring a love for languages and cultural diversity.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students at different learning levels.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the MFL department’s goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in MFL.
- Experience teaching French, Spanish, or other languages at secondary level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
