About the role
Join us as the Head of Computer Science and embark on an exciting journey to transform our computing curriculum and elevate digital learning across the school.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the Computer Science department, ensuring it becomes a model of excellence both within and beyond the school. You will work collaboratively with teachers to develop engaging, innovative lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.By fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, you will oversee the creation of a progressive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. Additionally, you will engage in ongoing professional development, helping to shape the school's strategic vision for digital education while maintaining the highest safeguarding standards.
This is a full-time (52 week), permanent role.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated leader with a strong background in ICT and Computer Science, ideally with experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels. You should have a proven track record of student attainment and the ability to build nurturing relationships with students and staff alike.Effective communication skills, a commitment to high-quality outcomes, and prior experience in leading e-learning initiatives are essential.
