Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Content Marketing & Growth Manager to own the organic performance lifecycle for one of our key ventures targeting the French market. This role goes beyond traditional content production—it’s about crafting and executing an integrated strategy that spans content creation, distribution, outreach, and digital growth marketing.You will be both hands-on in producing high-quality content and a collaborative leader, managing a dedicated copywriter and partnering with our SEO and Paid Search/PPC teams to drive a revenue-enhancing digital strategy.
This role is primarily office-based from our London office, with the flexibility of one remote day per week.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Content Strategy & Distribution:
- Design and implement a long-term, data-driven content strategy that aligns with business objectives and growth targets.
- Develop innovative distribution tactics to maximise organic reach and engagement across various digital channels.
Hands-On Content Production:
- Produce high-quality content as needed while mentoring and managing a dedicated copywriter to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Oversee the complete content creation process—from briefing and drafting to quality control and publication.
Digital Growth & Organic Performance:
- Take full accountability for the organic performance by monitoring key metrics using tools such as Google Analytics.
- Execute outreach initiatives and digital growth marketing techniques to drive audience engagement and enhance brand visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with SEO specialists and the Paid Search/PPC team to integrate organic and paid marketing efforts, ensuring a cohesive digital campaign.
- Work with design, social media, and other internal teams to align messaging and campaign execution.
Market Insight & Innovation:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously refine and elevate content and outreach initiatives.
- Identify and implement tactical improvements to ensure sustainable organic growth.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
- 2-5 years in content management, digital marketing, or a similar role within tech startups or digital media environments.
- A proven track record of managing digital content and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- Fluency in French with exceptional written and spoken proficiency as we predominantly target the French market. Proficiency in other European languages would be an advantage, especially Italian.
- Proficiency in using digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Metabase, and Tableau to drive data-informed decisions.
- Familiarity with content management systems, particularly Sanity or WordPress would be beneficial.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and experience working collaboratively with SEO, design, social media, and paid marketing teams.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a proactive approach.
- A strong ability to multi-task and capable of managing multiple initiatives with keen attention to detail.
Benefits
Compensation:
- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (Candidates meeting all requirements with at least 5 years of relevant experience will be considered for the higher end of this range)
