Alpha MOT Centre is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. We are looking for a hands-on problem-solver with a strong foundation in automotive mechanics. As an Automotive Technician at Alpha MOT Centre, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our customers’ vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and other automotive systems.Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, following manufacturer specifications.
Adhere to Alpha MOT Centre’s quality standards and repair procedures.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role.In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possessing relevant automotive qualifications (preferred).
Valid driving licence.
