The Role

We are looking for an FP&A manager to support the Group FP&A and Corporate finance function as we continue to develop and refine our processes to create best-in-class financial analysis and reporting. This role will pay a critical role in cash flow management and developing detailed analysis to support the business in various investment decisions and growth initiatives.

We’re looking for a driven individual who has exceptional attention to detail and has experience working in a fast-paced and varied environment.

  • Support the Head of Corporate Finance on financing, M&A and cashflow management activities
  • Build and develop models to support commercial pricing as well as revenue / cost business initiatives as required
  • Support the Head of FP&A in the running of the Group budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
  • Support the preparation of the monthly Group management reporting, ad hoc analyses and accompanying narrative
  • Help to optimise the preparation and reporting of management information by working closely with the business and data science team to deliver meaningful insights to decision makers
  • Review and analysis of key management KPIs for SPMT to provide actionable insight for management team as required
  • Actively participate in and drive various ad hoc projects in support of the Group Finance Director and CFO

Requirements

The skills, experience, and aptitudes we are looking for are listed below but please don’t be discouraged from applying if you don’t meet every single one of these criteria – having a ‘can do’ attitude is sometimes more important than being able to tick every box:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • Strong commercial acumen and appreciation of performance drivers
  • Experience of working in fast-paced, analytical environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to clearly communicate complex analysis and financial data to non-finance professionals
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive new business processes
  • Experience in financial services or technology sectors is beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills that enable data to be manipulated and presented professionally
  • Anaplan, Power BI or other intelligence tools would be beneficial
  • Netsuite experience beneficial
