Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing online technology business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Manchester office on a hybrid working pattern.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified with a practice background and will need to be able to display strong technical accounting skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads is crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential and any exposure to working with a Salesforce would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Responsible for month-end close
- Cashflow analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis and reporting on trends
- KPI Reporting
- Statutory accounts production
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
- Management of the finance team
Salary for the role is anywhere between £70,000 and £80,000
