Relief Chef

• Hourly Rate: £12 - £14
• Location: Earls Colne (Colchester)
• Job Type: Temporary Cover (7 days in October)

This role requires a chef who can work within the established working hours of 07:30 am to 16:00 pm.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Prepare a diverse menu including chicken chasseur, burgers, salads, and other main meals.
• Ensure the kitchen is operational and ready for service.
• Serve lunch to patrons, with service concluding at around 14:30.
• Conduct clean-up post-service
• Uphold high standards of food hygiene and comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional culinary training and proven experience as a chef.
• Ability to cook a wide range of dishes that enhance the café dining experience.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
