We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Automotive Workshop Tutor to join our team and guide students through hands-on automotive training in a workshop setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, a strong ability to teach, and a desire to help students develop the practical skills needed to succeed in the field.
In this role, you will assist tutors by preparing and maintaining classroom equipment, setting up training materials, and ensuring a safe learning environment. You will also provide logistical support during hands-on activities and help facilitate student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:-.Support tutors: Assist teaching staff in preparing and maintaining classroom equipment and training materials for effective instruction
- Guide students in performing practical tasks in the workshop, ensuring safety and proper techniques.
- Plan and prepare activities and practical demonstrations.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor student performance and offer guidance for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technology, and best practices.
- Ensure the workshop environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Help students prepare for practical assessments.
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, including hands-on repair and diagnostic skills.
- Teaching or tutoring experience (in an automotive context is preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Relevant certifications in automotive repair/maintenance (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, ASE, etc.)
- A passion for teaching and developing the next generation of automotive professionals.
