Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Location: St Austell and surrounding areasContract: Full-Time, Starting January
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: 08:30am to 15:30pm
Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in St Austell that places kindness and respect at the core of its ethos. The school is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning through a broad and engaging curriculum, enabling every pupil to discover their identity, achieve academic success, and grow personally.
With a strong focus on safeguarding and a flexible approach to meeting individual needs, the school works closely with families to build positive relationships and promote self-esteem. Requirements:- Experience working with children with SEN, either on a 1:1 basis or in a classroom setting.
- A passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Flexibility, proactivity, and patience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to a full-time role.
- While experience in education is an advantage, a background in support work is also highly valued.
- A valid driving licence (essential).
