Responsibilities:

About the position

Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager, as the interim Customer Operations Planner, you’ll bridge the gap between Birds Eye and our customers Supply Chain Teams. You’ll build a collaborative relationship with the customer, ensuring aligned forecasts and be a point of contact for any supply related issues.

You’ll also lead the supply chain efficiency agenda taking ownership of projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete ownership of the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) Process.
  • Align Birds Eye (all brands) and customer forecasts through analysis and manipulation of both companies ordering and reporting systems.
  • Provide a link between sales and planning from both ends of the Supply Chain whilst continuing to develop the relationship between the two.
  • Attend and lead key customer supply chain (and trade meetings when appropriate) as required in customer Head Offices and be the first point in forging great relationships with the wider customer teams

Qualifications:

About You

To be considered for the role, you will have to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience of working in customer focused role, forecasting, and analysing large data sets
  • Used to working in a fast-paced FMCG or Supply Chain environment.
  • A basic understanding of Supply Chain
  • Good relationship management, you’re able to communicate and influence stakeholders.
  • You’re organised and OK with administrative tasks, with some experience of forecasting
  • Proactive approach and a keen problem solver with good level of resilience
  • A self-starter, you’re able to motivate yourself and work in a pressurized environment without direct supervision.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
