Estates and Compliance Manager
This role is primarily an office-based, administrative position that will report to our Director of Estates. The successful candidate will organise all routine maintenance and repairs carried out by either our team of skilled Caretakers or a range of external contractors, at our extensive site located on Hills Road, Cambridge.
This is a facilitating, administrative role that requires an individual with a core skill set that includes capacity, organisation, attention to detail, project management, and diplomatic skills that can be delivered across a wide range of teams.Prior technical knowledge of facilities management is not a requirement, but the successful candidate must have an open, learning mindset and willingness to learn about the estate and its services. Knowledge and experience of working within the education sector, whilst desirable, is also not essential.
However, all candidates need to have an understanding of the range of needs of a diverse workforce and be committed to making a difference to young people’s lives.
