About EPrints Services

As a result of our continued success, we are expanding our Engineering and Support team.

At our core is an open source repository platform, EPrints, which provides a flexible way to configure operations concerning data capture, structure and presentation, and a range of services that allow content to be accessed in a variety of ways.

We support our many customers by maintaining our own Linux based hosting virtual machine infrastructure.

We are a well established small Enterprise team based in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton.

All projects require some level of design, programming, testing, project management, and customer support.

It is essential you have:

  • PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Computer Science or related discipline
and / or
  • Proven industrial experience.

In addition, some knowledge of Linux as well as Web relevant technologies, for example XML, SQL, JavaScript and CSS is required. Experience in high level programming languages such as Python, PHP or Perl will be highly desirable.
