Food and Beverage Assistant who is professional and reliable with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills is required for a well-established premier private members multisport club based in South West London.
SALARY: £28,808 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: South West London (SW15)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week - Various shifts available including evenings and weekends

Working as Food and Beverage Assistant you will join a friendly team where you'll play a vital part in the daily running of the Food and Beverage department, focusing on the smooth operation of the Café and/or Bar.

DUTIES | Waiting Staff / Bar Staff / F&B Assistant / Waiter / Waitress / Bartender
Your duties as a Food and Beverage Assistant will include:
- Create 100% Member satisfaction through providing a ‘yes I can’ attitude and exceeding Members’ expectations
- Follow the eight steps of service training to ensure 100%-Member satisfaction in food and beverage service
- Ensure adherence to set standards for all food and beverage service
- Follow and complete cleaning schedule as requested to ensure all storerooms, corridors and the café/bar area are kept to the highest of standards
- Learn and understand the food and drinks served to be able to talk to Members about the products and to ‘Upsell’ as and when possible
- Set-up and refresh when necessary, the cafe, piano bar, members bar, function rooms or any other areas as required
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures when on the rota for those shifts
- Take payments for goods in accordance with club procedures
- Ensure Members follow the Members’ rules and regulations or ensure a senior member of the team is aware of any breaches
- Duties required for the smooth running of the café/bar– stocking up, stock rotation, beer line cleaning, pre / post service preparation
- Ensure you adhere to all legislative and company fire, health and safety and security guidelines
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings to discuss the day’s upcoming events in detail, special requests, and product development
- Ensure the correct uniform and name badge are worn at all times
- Actively participate in departmental meetings
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS | Waiting Staff / Bar Staff / F&B Assistant / Waiter / Waitress / Bartender
While full training will be given the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies: -- Trustworthy and reliable
- Experience in an events environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Good customer care skills including respecting internal external customers
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong team player and good communicator
- Good time management skills
- Professionally well groomed
- Uniform provided
