ROLE TITLE: Team Leader / SupervisorREPORTS TO: General ManagerROLE PURPOSETo Proactively offer a full and professional service to our customers that delivers beyond expectations. The Team Leader or supervisor role is crucial in ensuring customers always receive the highest possible standards.You will be responsible for providing an experience that leaves our customers feeling happy and excited about visiting us again.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Kitchen in prep, baking Bagels and serving hot and cold sandwichesEnsuring the correct procedures are followed when serving food, in line with food safety, packaging and portion sizeReceiving goods and deliveries and ensuring they are placed in the relevant areasCarrying out all food hygiene and health & safety practices in line with company procedures and regulationsCompleting all relevant paperwork as required, for example, product temperature checks in line with HACCP proceduresProviding high levels of customer service at all timesDealing with customers in an efficient, professional and friendly manner at all timesDealing with any customer complaints in line with company proceduresProviding customers with relevant information on products and any other requestsEnsuring opening and closing procedures are always adhered toEnsuring stock levels are maintained in proportion to business and shop needsAssisting with stock control checks when required by managementEnsuring adherence to all waste control measures in line with company standards and relevant proceduresEnsuring the correct use of all equipment supplied in line with training and guidanceMaintaining high levels of cleanliness within the front and back of house areasMaintaining punctuality and an exemplary attendance recordMaintaining awareness of any security threats and informing the relevant manager/s of any security breachesReporting any maintenance issues immediately to the relevant manager/sMentoring and training new recruits as and when requiredSupervising shifts and ensuring high standards of customer service at all timesProviding cover and supervisory support for key aspects of shop operations in the absence of managementConducting daily briefing meetings as and when requiredWearing the appropriate uniform and/or PPE supplied by the company in line with company policiesAttending any training and or meetings as required by the companyRepresenting It’s Bagels and yourself in a professional mannerTaking responsibility for your own personal development at work and striving to be the best in what you do, taking pride in your workAdhering to all statutory company policies and procedures Ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhering to the health and safety regulations concerning your employment and promoting a safe environment for yourself, your colleagues and customersTaking responsibility and action any other reasonable tasks that may be required by management from time to timeThe Candidate

Salary OfferThe payrate for supervisor is £14.50 to start and increases to £15.15 after probation.
