Our client, a dynamic organisation in the fashion retail industry, is seeking a talented Assistant Merchandiser to join their growing team in Shepherd's Bush London. This temporary full-time position runs from February 2025 for approx 3 months with view of extension for the right person.
What You'll Do:As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in maximising global sales through strategic analysis and effective stock management. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing performance indicators related to sales, stock, and profits.
- Collaborating with the buying team to plan and trade relevant brands.
- Identifying best-selling and under-performing brands and recommending actions.
- Managing intake delivery KPIs and ensuring timely stock arrivals.
- Supporting quarterly planning forecasts and making strategic recommendations.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant commercial experience in a fashion retail merchandising environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines and multitask.
