Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Sales Account Manager.

You will be working as part of a global team and have the opportunity work with top-tier clients, manage key accounts, and develop strategic sales initiatives. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for building lasting client relationships and driving business growth.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for clients, responsible for nurturing and expanding business relationships. Your role will involve regularly engaging with key decision-makers, visiting them in person when required to maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships.

You'll develop customized sales strategies tailored to each client's unique needs, identifying opportunities for growth within your assigned accounts.

This is a remote with occasional monthly travel to the office which is in North London. As well as meeting your customer base. The ideal location for the candidate will be in the Southeast UK

Responsibilities & day to day duties

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining relationships and growing new business opportunities with customers, visiting face to face as and when required.
  • Build and maintain solid business relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies for specific accounts to maximize business opportunities.
  • Create sales proposals and deliver product presentations to potential customers.
  • Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring accuracy in legal and financial negotiations.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure the highest customer service levels
  • Attend and assist in preparing for industry trade shows and seminars.
Skills & experience required.
  • Background in Account Management/ Sales within a manufacturing environment, Aviation, GSE, machinery
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a focus on long-term customer alliances.
  • Ability to prepare and negotiate tenders, legal terms, and financial conditions.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Full driving license, must be able to travel across the country, into London and happy with travel to the US and other locations
Benefits package
  • Salary of Circa £45,000
  • Bonus paid annually - circa £15,000
  • Car allowance of £7740
  • 25 days holiday

  • 40 hour working
  • week core hours 9
  • 5 Flexi hours between 7.00am & 6pm
