Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the portfolio of operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with Calisen’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Drive operational portfolio planning, balancing resource allocation with operational priorities and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, providing clear plans that align with day-to-day business needs.
  • Monitor and report on initiative progress, offering actionable insights that support business operations.
  • Implement governance and process standards to improve operational performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct operational change analysis, identifying trends and recommending improvements to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations that influence key operational decisions and improvements.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of operational projects and initiatives.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong qualifications in Portfolio, Programme, or Project Management (e.g., MOP, APMP, MSP, Prince2).
  • Proven experience in leading change within operational environments, ideally in roles focused on process improvement and resource optimization.
  • In-depth experience leading a PMO with a focus on operational performance, governance, and resource management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, using tools such as MS Office and Power BI to drive operational insights and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with operational teams and stakeholders at all levels, offering constructive feedback and direction.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational improvements and cost optimization.
  • Solid understanding of business finance, particularly in relation to operational resource management and cost control.
