About the role
The Grimsby Institute is looking to appoint an inspirational Programme Leader to deliver, assess and administrate one of our Uniformed Public Service cohorts. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing the courses at levels one to three as well as organising trips, visits and guest speakers.You will demonstrate a knowledge of key performance indicators including attendance, retention and achievement. You will prepare our learners by giving them the requisite skills towards a successful career the uniformed and/or emergency services.
About the person
The successful candidate must be:
An excellent communication skills as well as strong organisation and administrative skills.
A full teaching qualification (CertEd or PGCE)Industry experience.
Maths and English qualifications at Grade 4 or C (or equivalent) are essential.
Uniformed Public Services background to ensure suitable delivery of our qualifications or proven experience in delivering.
Able to assist in developing employer confidence and work alongside local organisations to ensure the development of practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge and positive behaviours.
