Accounts Assistant
Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with a large company in Swadlincote who are looking for an experienced and dedicated accounts assistant to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract working 37.5 hours per week.
Your new role
You will be working in a supportive finance team assisting with the end-to-end transactional process. You will liaise with various teams within finance to ensure group goals are met whilst taking initiative to complete sole tasks. You will be working in the office 5 days per week initially, with the option to work 1 day at home once training has been completed.
What you'll need to succeed- You will be an experienced accounts or finance assistant with UK-based experience
- You will have experience using financial software (Ideally SAP)
- You will be a team player with excellent communication
- You will have great attention to detail
- You will have a relevant finance qualification or in the process of completing this
- You will be comfortable picking up new IT systems with good EXCEL knowledge
- Flexible working hours
