JOB OVERVIEW

Hayfin is one of Europe’s leading investment platforms currently managing c.€33 billion of AUM across four core strategies: Direct Lending, Special Opportunities, Tactical Credit and High Yield Credit. Hayfin seeks to recruit a bright, articulate, detail-oriented Senior Reporting Associate to join its Investor Relations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting to investors across Funds and separately managed accounts and assisting in special reporting projects to enable greater efficiencies and provide tailored reporting solutions for investors.

Hayfin is looking at a truly dynamic professional with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity at an alternative investment firm and/or fund administrator (credit experience is preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produce quarterly performance reports for distribution to investors for the main Funds and the separately managed accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting requirements for strategic investors of the Firm
  • Coordinate with all Hayfin internal teams, including the Investment, Finance, Legal and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of the information provided
  • Prepare and coordinate with internal teams to provide credit ratings for investments using various methods
  • Maintain Fund cash flow models to be updated on a quarterly basis
  • Contribute to the firm's fundraising efforts by working on quantitative part of DDQs for current and prospective investors
  • Participate and implement the company’s technological initiatives and smart reporting solutions
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects:
  • Implementing methods to increase efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain reports on underperforming investments
  • Monitor and maintain default analysis data and related reports

Requirements

ROLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant undergraduate degree (finance, economics, business etc.)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience ideally in a reporting role in private debt/private equity (e.g. at a fund administrator or asset management firm)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Disciplined, organized and analytical
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and proven ability to multi-task
  • Proficient Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data management etc.)
  • CPA, ACCA or CFA candidate preferred
  • Experience with SQL or data analysis and visualisation tools (i.e. PowerBI/Tableau etc) preferred
