Nursery Teacher
My client in Barnet, London is seeking a Montessori Baby Room Nursery Teacher. You must be qualified to a minimum of a level 3 early years qualification to apply.
Job Description
The nursery is growing at a fast pace and we are looking for a passionate Montessori Teachers to join our babyroom team for 35 to 45h per week on a mutually agreeable schedule.
We are seeking a qualified, reliable, passionate and compassionate person to provide instruction and guidance to our children. The Teacher will work as part of a team of highly qualified Montessori teachers to provide an engaging environment for students from the age of 6 months to 2 years.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children and be able to work well in a team environment.
The candidate must be Montessori trained or willing to train with support from the company. They must be knowledgeable of the EYFS requirements and have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide guidance and care for children 6 months to 2 years
- Setting up and maintaining an environment that fosters children's independence, holistic development and curiosity in the world
- Be proactive in developing lesson plans and activities based on the individual needs of children
- Involved and proactive in the daily routines
- Plan, implement and assess children's development
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and tidy classroom
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. A Montessori diploma or a higher qualification is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be willing to train in Montessori with support from the company, A minimum of one year experience working with children is required. Competitive salary dependant on level of experience, qualification and hours worked
- Must be willing to submit to an extensive background check and provide references.
Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
