Senior Human Factors Engineer

Pay rate: Competitive - Umbrella or PAYE
Location: Portsmouth, Frimley, Filton, Broad Oak or Weymouth
Hybrid: Hybrid Working Available
Hours of work: Up to 37 Hours Per Week
Role information:- Human Factors Integration - Lead the development of policies, procedures, and risk assessments related to Human Factors in high-hazard activities, including Safety Critical Task Analysis.
- Training & Awareness - Develop and deliver Human Factors training and support specialist trainees.
- Incident Support - Support investigations of incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
- Collaboration - Build relationships with Human Factors professionals and professional bodies (e.g., CIEHF).
- Risk Management - Integrate Human Factors risk management into overall health, safety, and environmental protection strategies.
- Desirable Experience - Experience with high hazard industries, "Process" or "System" Safety, and environmental protection regulations.
- Chartered Member of Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors
- Experience in Safety Critical Task Analysis in high hazard facilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Practical experience and understanding of managing risks in high hazard environments
UK National Security Vetting Status - Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
