The successful applicant will help to launch new projects while playing a key role in the wider manufacturing team.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance which includes providing 5 consecutive years of UK residence and employment/education history.

- Weekly Ledger Account reconciliations aligned to the Management Accounts to track the transactional nature of the Manufacturing Unit
- Ensure revenues and costs are captured and allocated accurately (stock/WIP/finished goods)
- Understand the key cost drivers, budget variances and effects on profitability
- Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing journals, nominal ledger cross charges and period end reconciliations
- Develop cost models and operational trackers to capture, trend and report both operating costs and statistical information
- Preparation and interpretation of accurate and timely financial information of the operations on a regular basis
- Supporting with Management Team with financial analysis
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Assist with balance sheet preparation including robust reconciliations to support balances
- Completion of monthly payroll reconciliations
- Raising of regular internal cross-charges and supporting the admin team and the credit-control team
- Completion of regular large operational reconciliations
- Providing ad-hoc support across the wider G&A Finance Function
- Be flexible and respond quickly and positively to internal and external stakeholder requests
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Qualified/Part-Qualified and studying towards the CIMA/ACCA qualification
- Experience of working with a finance software package or ERP package
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive and inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams and driving performance and efficiency improvements
- A keen eye for detail and financial controls
- IT literate and able to understand various systems – strong Excel skills would be advantageous
- Experience of working with a finance software package or ERP package
- Transport/Logistics Industry experience preferred but not essential
- Have commitment, passion, and a progressive attitude for achievement
