Job Description- Leading and managing logistics start up teams for optimal performance
- Scoping the programme of work for the build and fit out of a new Distribution centre
- Implementing and overseeing transport & distribution programmes
- Monitoring programme performance and implementing improvements where necessary
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Coordinating with stakeholders to manage programme requirements
- Providing regular programme updates to senior management
- Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Conducting regular meetings and reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Management on 3rd party service providers (Principal contractor, integrators and fit out companies)
The Successful Applicant
A successful Programme Manager should have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as Business or Logistics
- Proficiency in managing large scale logistics and transport & distribution programmes
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively
- Prince2, PMP or similar project management training
- A comprehensive understanding of industry regulations
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and teams
- Proficiency using MS Project or similar software packages
- An negotiable salary package, ranging from £90,000 to £110,000 per annum
- A 2 year Fixed term contract
