Job Title: School Business Manager (Temporary to cover Mat/ Adoption leave)
Scale Point: Grade 7 £37,938 - £41,511(full time full year equivalent)
Working Pattern: Term time plus 10 days (37 hours per week)
Start Date: May 2025 (subject to negotiation)
End Date: Return of the post-holder

We are looking to recruit a well-qualified, School Business Manager with relevant experience and qualifications, in financial management, budgetary control and personnel management. The role also includes maintaining and updating the Single Central record in line with current requirements.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding individual, ideally with experience in a school environment, who is efficient, hardworking, and highly organised to fulfil the role of school Business Manager at our thriving school until the return of the present post holder.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is able to lead and direct others.
  • Has excellent financial management and IT skills.
  • Has experience of using financial software and budgetary processing skills.
  • Will become part of our Senior Leadership Team.
  • Is able to deal professionally with all stakeholders including: parents, pupils, governors, staff members and external agencies.
  • Is supportive of the Catholic mission and vision of the school.
  • Has a commitment to on-going professional development.
  • Is experienced and confident at line managing members of the administrative and site staff team.
