Production Line Leader

Production Line Leader | Poole (on Site) | Full Time | £30,000 - £40,000

We are working with a well-established and growing fresh and frozen food manufacturer based in Poole, who are looking to appoint a Production Line Leader to support their operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production professional to take ownership of a production line, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety standards are consistently met within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role

As Production Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of a production line, managing operatives and ensuring output targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supervising a team of production operatives on the line
• Ensuring daily production targets and KPIs are met
• Monitoring product quality and compliance with food safety standards (e.g. HACCP)
• Coordinating line set-up, changeovers and shutdowns
• Identifying and resolving production issues quickly and effectively
• Maintaining accurate production records and reporting performance
• Supporting training and development of team members
• Driving continuous improvement across processes and efficiencies
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times

About You

You will be a hands-on and proactive production professional with experience in a food manufacturing environment.

You will likely have:

• Previous experience in a Production Line Leader / Supervisor role
• Experience within fresh or frozen food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly under pressure
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement

• Salary of £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
